Great Plains Home Inspection
Whether it’s your first home or your dream home, chances are you will have feelings of anxiety at some point during the home buying process. Usually this anxiety comes from things out of your control and/or the “unknown.” One of these “unknowns” is the actual condition of the home being purchased.
Photos and video-tours tend to focus on the selling points while walk-throughs generally determine whether the home will be a good fit for the prospective buyers. It is the home inspection, a methodical investigation into the different systems and components of a home that will reveal its actual condition.
The goal of Great Plains Home Inspection is to eliminate one of the “unknowns” by providing its clients with a thorough, accurate, and easy-to-understand report of the current condition of the home in question. From that reporting, home buyers will have a better understanding of the home and will, therefore, be better equipped to make confident decisions as they navigate through the remainder of the home-buying process.
Great Plains Home Inspection strictly adheres to both Oklahoma and InterNACHI Home Inspection Standards of Practice. The home inspection is a visual only/non-invasive inspection of the accessible systems and components of the home.
Great Plains Home Inspection will simply identify and report, regardless of whether the report contains “good news” or “bad news.” The goal is to provide our clients with an accurate assessment of the current condition of the home. Another goal of Great Plains Home Inspection is to help buyers protect their new investment.
Proper maintenance and regular upkeep of the home will help prevent costly repairs in the future. It’s important for home buyers, especially first time home buyers, to understand their new home’s proper maintenance requirements. Clients are encouraged to attend the inspection when at all possible so these maintenance tips can be explained first hand.
Great Plains Home Inspection would like the opportunity to give you a professional introduction to your new home and provide guidance on how to protect your investment.
